Thenext11thWCAPwillbeheldinBeijing,China,inJuly28toAugust1,2013.Thisconferencewilllikelyhostover1000delegatesfromover80countries.
Chinaraisesmorethan20%oftheworldpeoplebyusing7%ofearthterrestrialarea.MeatproductioninChinaisinthetoplevelintheworld.TheamountofChinesepigs,sheep,chicken,ducksaretakenthelargestpercentageoftheworldlivestock.ChinalocalizesintheNorthTemperateZone,characterizedbyatypicalcontinentalclimateanddistinctivefourseasons.Numerousregionaldomesticanimalswithuniquegenotypesrepresentthelocalenvironmentalcharacteristics.Thispopulouscountryhascreatedsuchahugeconsumingmarketthatattractstheworldagriculturalindustries.
The11thWCAPishostedbyChineseAssociationofAnimalScience&VeterinaryMedicine(CAAV).CAAVestablishedin1963whichhasahistoryof74years,aimingindrivingforwardofnationalandinternationalcommunicationandcooperationofanimalproductionresearchers.CAAVispossessing35branches(societies)andmorethan60,000membersinChina.Theacademicprogramwillbeextensivelyscientificintheconference.
